That movie is spectacular! And I just bought the soundtrack and it is also quite wonderful.

Wes Anderson = One spectacular and quite wonderful guy.

oh hi rose! if you have the soundtrack, i know this song but i don;t know the artist something like "mark and the....hmmm..?" and the song has the word island in it. whoa i gave you really clear details..i don't expect a reply.

Mark Mothersbaugh (who composed all the original music in the movie) and that song is called: Ping Island/Lighting Stirke Rescue Op

I want that song to be my cellphone ring. If I had a cellphone...

p.s. other songs from the soundtrack to check out: the zombies - the way i feel inside (or anything else by the zombies, really), Devo - gut feeling and anything Bowie...obviously...
